A manufacturer of plastic products by rotational moulding and extrusion, operating in the commercial vehicle, fire a safety and environmental protection markets. Role Responsibilities
• Planning and scheduling of the Production output of work using the planning software.
• Liaising with departments to ensure the plan is always aligned to the requirements of the business.
• Liaising with Production Supervision and Engineering on a regular basis.
• Providing information using the team briefs to ensure all Supervisors are fully aware of relevant operational issues and updates.
• Liaising with relevant departments providing updates and key information as necessary.
Qualifications and certification required
• 5 GCSE or equivalent C and above. To include English and Maths
Role Requirements
Essential
• Ability to use scheduling and planning software. MRP/ERP
• Experience of computerised planning systems in a fast turn round environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical application
• Computer literate – Microsoft products. To include outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong organisational skills Desirable
• Forklift truck experience.
• Experience working in a plastics industry, preferably in rotational moulding or extrusion.
• Working within an ISO9000 and IS14001 environment.
Desirable
• Working knowledge of Epicor software, a distinct advantage.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a relevant manufacturing background.
• Planning techniques in a make-to-order, make-to-stock and continuous production environments.
• Proven track record in Production Planning within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Desirable
• Working within an ISO9001, IS14001 and 45001 environments
• Worked in a plastics industry, preferably in rotational moulding, extrusion and/or injection moulding.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a small team where you will work collaboratively with other functions and gain a wider scope of the business coupled with IT exposure.
The successful candidate will earn £30,000 – £35,000 DOE.

Role Requirements - Essential
• Minimum 5 GCSE or equivalent
• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification and/or significant relevant experience
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate business issues into technical solutions
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Previous experience working with ERP or CRM systems
• Working knowledge of using SQL to produce datasets
• Ability to learn and research independently
Role Requirements - Desirable
• Experience of report writing (SAP Crystal / SSRS / PowerBI)
• Knowledge of using RESTful APIs

Fabrication, assembly and repair of a large range of steel and aluminium rotational moulding tools. Repairs to structures and equipment along with general fabrication work. Production of jigs and formers. Assisting the maintenance team with plant maintenance where repairs require fabrication and welding. Assisting the Mould Maintenance department with tooling repairs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mould Fabrication / Repair
• Mould manufacture / repairs to mould tools utilising a range of materials and fabrication techniques
• Sheet metal fabrication of complex shapes / parts
• Fabricating / repairing parts for machinery / factory structures (basic sheet metal work / welding sectional steel)
• Occasional tooling changes
• Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner and that HS&E standards are adhered to at all times
Managerial Support:
• To report directly to the Engineering Manager with regard to repairs / maintenance
• To advise on any technical issues
• To regularly report any tool / consumable requirements
• To report any and all defects found while carrying out day to day activities
• To assist the mould maintenance / engineering team as required
Technical Development:
• To liaise with the Engineering Manager with regard to plant / tool improvements
• To liaise with Process Engineering with regard to their activities and projects
Production Support:
• To liaise with the Production Department in relation to tool repairs / preventative maintenance
General Duties:
• Housekeeping
• Other duties required by the business
